Haywire
What can I say? Gina Carano is the most believable bad ass heroine on the planet. Period. She has a little work to do in the acting department, but her fighting skills are incredibly solid (obviously). I loved the fight scenes. They looked & sounded very authentic. They showcased Gina’s abilities beautifully. The sound and camera angles they used gave the movie a very realistic feel. The A list actors in the film were good, but were not utilized all that much. This was Gina’s show and she did very well for her first movie. Lookout Hollywood! There’s a new bad ass heroine in town! Overall, I think the movie fell a little short of what it could have been, but I enjoyed it.

Tangled Ever After - Short
They are playing this short before Beauty and the Beast 3D. It is absolutely awesome! If you are a Tangled fan, you must see it! If you have never seen Tangled, you still have to see this short. It is that great! They incorporated all of the stars of Tangled perfectly. I loved it through and through!

Beauty and the Beast 3D
A Disney classic shines brighter than ever! Beauty and the Beast 3D was fantastic! The 3D really brings the movie to life. It was more vivid and captures the imagination even more than the original version. Keep your glasses on for the credits! Awesome all the way around board.

Man on a Ledge
This movie was good! It got slow a few times and had a few cheesy lines, but otherwise it was a very entertaining movie. It had action, comedy, drama and even a few twists. It was pretty predictable, but well done. I think they made the most out of a movie about a Man on a Ledge. I liked it! Check it out! Rating: 3.5 out of 5 Moos.
House Of Lies - Series Premiere
We normally review movies, but we went to a premiere of Showtime's "House of Lies" and "Shameless" and we figured we would let you know what we thought. House of Lies was up first. I enjoyed this show a lot. It had a little bit of everything. They did a nice job of introducing the characters and giving a little taste of each of them. It's a corporate comedy with a mixture of characters that seems to work well. It kept me entertained the entire time and I want to see more. It seems to me this could be a very good series. Shameless - Season 2 Premiere
I have never seen this show prior to seeing this premiere. Well, it looks like I have been missing a great show! I absolutely loved everything about it! The characters, multiple story lines and complete mix of emotions come together to create a gem. I was very impressed with this show and I can't wait to see more! It has it all! I'm very happy that we have Showtime so I can continue to watch this series! Rating: 5 out of 5 Moos.
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
If I had to honestly describe this movie in one word, it would be "boring". The acting was fantastic & the characters were great, but the movie didn't conjur up any real emotions of any kind for me. The script & story were good, but they brought it to life about as blan as you probably could have. It was lacking for me. Rating: 2.5 out of 5 Moos.
The Darkest Hour - 3D
I liked the concept of the movie, but it could have been a whole lot better. It came off pretty cheesy and very predictable. It's like a combination of I Am Legend and Independence Day, but on a much lower level. Some of the special effects were kind of cool, but I think it fell way short of what it could have been. The Adventures of Tintin - 3D
This was a fun, adventure filled movie! It was visually pleasing, especially in 3D which really brought the movie to life. It had plenty of action and quite a bit of comic relief. The characters were all great and the entire movie was very well acted. Overall a fun, family movie. My 4 year old daughter lost interest a couple of times, but just briefly. She was quickly sucked back in. Rating: 3.5 out of 5 Moos
Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol - IMAX
If you like intense, non-stop action from beginning to end, this is the movie for you! We saw it in IMAX and it was absolutely amazing! We haven't actually grabbed onto our seats in a long time, but we did during this one! The plot was great, the acting was great, the stunts were astounding and the overall feel of the movie was fantastic. This is a must see! If at all possible, see it in IMAX! Darn near mind-blowing! Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked
This was a typical, yet still entertaining chipmunks movie. Overall it was pretty fun and had some great music, as always. They incorporated a lot of currently relevant items along the way while being quite witty at times. Overall, I enjoyed the movie, but it wasn't anything fantastic. My 4-year old daughter really enjoyed it! Rating: 3 out of 5 Moos
The Muppets
It was so good to see all the Muppets again! It flashed me back to my happy childhood. I have always loved the Muppets. It was a bit slow at times and the plot was a little weak, but overall it was a fun movie. They mixed the old with the new very well. I don't think it was anything absolutely spectacular, but if you are a Muppets fan, you have to see it! Rating: 3.5 out of 5 Moos
Jack and Jill
This was pretty much your typcial Adam Sandler movie. The plot was ok, but it was kind of hard to pretend that Jill was not Adam Sandler. It was too obvious and the voice he was using as Jill got a little annoying after a while. It had its funny moments, that's for sure, but overall it wasn't really that funny. Al Pacino stole the show in my opinion! It was just ok. Rating: 2 out of 5 Moos
